Recently I backed out of applying for a job Most people that read my posts know that I do use tampons as part of my womanhood. I now started having tampons sent mail order to my home. I had been buying my tampons from a store just like any other woman and my 3 brands were all super or ultra sizes from Playtex Gentle Glide, Tampax Pearl or Kotex U. Just like any other shopping a woman does like for bras, panties and other women’s clothing and articles, being that I pass as a woman I too enjoy shopping as a woman and buying tampons over the counter. It just makes me feel that much more like a woman. No one ever gives me a questioning look. About a year or so ago I saw an ad for a home delivery tampon service. The brand was from a new company called LOLA and is a tampon subscription service. These tampons are natural organic cotton tampons. There are also several other brands of natural organic tampons that have home delivery service; Kali, Sustain Natural and CORA are also pretty much the same as LOLA. I see ads that Kotex has just recently developed an organic natural tampon. I just might give the other brands a try to see which ones I like best. A woman’s tampons are important to her and she has to keep up with the ones that are best for her, ya know. Tampons have changed much over the years and now many of the well known popular OTC brands are no longer cotton but instead bleached rayon with chemicals and fragrances. If I remember right the first Tampax tampons I used when I was 12 were still cotton. I did not realize that tampons had changed so much over the years. So anyway, I am on LOLA’s customer list and I get regular emails from them. They sent out one that it was not directed at me personally but to all the women on the customer list. The email was titled “Want to work for LOLA?” Apparently the idea of organic tampons has taken off and LOLA is expanding and needing more personnel. The positions that they need help in were office and clerical jobs. I did not see any factory jobs open that manufacture the tampons. The company was designed by 2 women that had the idea and it is a female run organization so obviously putting a ‘help wanted’ ad on their customer list meant that they were probably looking for genetic women to hire. With a little exploring all the names I saw that worked in the offices were feminine. At first I did not give it much thought because I am a transwoman and shemale and why would they hire someone like me? But I thought about it some more and they know that I am a transwoman/shemale so why not try it and see what kind of response I get. The worst they could say is ‘no’. I had written to LOLA before becoming a customer to see if they would cater to transwomen and shemales. They replied that I would very much be welcome as a customer because they already had a few transgendered as customers. I was delighted and placed my first order for a box of 18 super tampons, plus got one free box for becoming a customer. They made light, regular and super tampons but since their start up they added sanitary pads and panty shields and also a super plus tampon. So now I order and use the super plus tampons. As far as the size of the tampon I guess I use the big boys or maybe I should say big girls. I wrote to them and told them that I was customer and a transwoman and shemale and might be interested in applying for a position at LOLA. I was pleasantly surprised at the responses I got. The first lady that wrote to me seemed to be excited about a transwoman coming to work there and said they would very much welcome a transwoman shemale. The only things were that I would have to move to New York City and be qualified for the position I applied for. They also gave me a phone number I could call for more info concerning employment. I was excited at this response and the thought of working as a woman at a women’s company that made intimate women’s products such as tampons, panty liners, etc. made me euphoric. I also thought it would be interesting to see how tampons were made and produced. This would be another one of my dream jobs that I imagined doing as a woman. I have had other jobs that I worked as a woman. I had told them in that email that I would love to be able to work in an office of women as a woman myself, wearing dresses and having a tampon inserted while working to make me feel like one of the women working there. I told them that I would like to be welcome to use the ladies restrooms because I sit to pee, and be accepted as one of the women by the other women. I did also mention that some people working there might have a problem with me being a transwoman and shemale but I could deal with that. I have had friends from NYC and they told me about it and said it was great there but I also wondered if it was so great then why did they leave? I also heard about the congestion and muggings there and muggings were common in some areas. I looked on the application page and there was just an email form. I did type up a resume to attach to the email form and listed things that I have done that I thought might qualify me for a position. They were looking for a couple of department heads but also some assistants for those departments. I could see myself being trained as an assistant and eventually moving up to a lead position. One thing that I thought about is that I could wind as being a novelty item there, the token transwoman and shemale in a female operated company, which I guess would have been alright as long as I was treated like a woman. But before sending the resume I wanted to think about it and talk to Husband about it, he may or may not want to go and might have to think about it. He never said either way. I do not want to give up my animals. Husband pointed out to me that even since I did live in a large city such as L.A. (West Hollywood), and have frequented San Francisco and Las Vegas, that NYC was much different. If I were a younger woman, and with no attachments, I would follow through with seeking a career with a company such as LOLA. I will remain being a LOLA girl and using natural tampons. But I could also become a CORA girl or a Kali girl or a Sustain girl or a Kotex Natural girl, because I am going to try these other brands of natural organic cotton tampons. My 2 best girlfriends, one is also a wife and legally married and the other is a shack up girlfriend that soon will be legally married and they both attended the last breast cancer event with Husband and I, also use tampons and use LOLA’s.
